It doesn't matter what your dietary preference is, just try to find ways to incorporate different things into your lifestyle. For example, more leafy greens, more whole grains and more water.
Yes, it was. Actually, the first time was a total mishap, LOL. Because I didn't have the necessary information that I needed to be successful. But I did not let that stop me all I did was keep trying by slowly incorporating more plant-based items into the current eating lifestyle I already had and from there I slowly eliminated some things.
At first, no. I was just winging it. But after some research, talking to my dietitian and my primary care we established a game plan. I used the word we, because I couldn't have done this by myself. The saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child so take that statement and apply it to your eating lifestyle it's going to take some support and encouragement not just from yourself but also from others to help you be successful. Learn to take the good with the bad because every day may not be a win; when those days happen, don't beat yourself up just acknowledge it, address it and move forward. Remember this is not a quick fix this is a lifestyle change.
